Creativitape Volume 1 Featuring RILLE

Went to the wonderland that is APT 78 for one of their last shows uptown a couple of weeks ago. I have seen a fair amount of the APT 78 DJ lineup before but there was a new dude that seemed to be all over the map this time around.

RILLE.

COE's Ronaissance was at the bar getting beers while RILLE got into his set and at one point he dropped a track that made Ron pop up like a Meercat out of the APT 78 crowd and look for me before mouthing "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!"

RILLE's set had so much range I stopped him briefly to let em know he murdered and asked him to put together our first Creativitape.

@RILLEVIBES put together a mix to showcase who he is creatively. DJ's are art curators and some take that responsibility more seriously than others. thanks, RILLE .

The idea behind this is to highlight DJ's that are willing to deviate from the norm. To give them a space to fully explore their creativity and express themselves in a mix without focusing on getting the attention of the people standing on their phones scrolling through Instagram or yelling their girls drink order to the bartender.

Check it out and follow RILLE on Twitter and Soundcloud cause its important.
