Get to Know Loyle Carner Before it's 'A Little Late'
Loyle Carner, a 21 year old London based artist, is making waves. The kid recently released a smooth, eloquently lyrical EP entitled "A Little Late". Flowing over jazz like instrumentals, he discusses trivial issues such as the death of his step-dad. If you're looking for some chilled out soothing rap, look no further. Initially, we compared him to King Krule aka Archy Moore, an absolute legend, and of course, the two are friends. Archie was the one who got Carner his first gig, supporting MF Doom (if you don't know who MF Doom is stop, go find out, come back, and keep reading...) The EP features Tom Misch, an UNREAL London-based producer we dug up when searching through some releases from soulection, go check out his soundcloud . Needless to say Loyle is extremely talented and surrounding himself with exactly the right people to push his sound further, which by the way is exactly what we are trying to do at COE. Creative expression with artistic collaboration. Pumped to see what Loyle does next, and hopefully he brings King Krule and Tom Misch into the mix.
