Skepta Starts from the Bottom in NYC

This weekend, UK Grime Legend Skepta, handed out his new Tim Westwood Mixtape on Houston and Broadway in downtown New York City. Symbolic of Skeptas humbleness, handing out mixtapes in NYC seemed to be Skepta's way of paying homage to the US hip hop scene and his willingness to work to gain popularity here.

Being big fans since around 2009, COE headed downtown to meet him. We ended up getting there just as he was packing up for the day. He handed us the mixtape, took a picture with us, and spent a few minutes with us thanking us for being fans of the music he has put out over the years. 

We uploaded it because we love Skepta and we know you will too. Here is to introducing him to a new fan base.

Skepta preformed at Fools Gold Day Off over Labor Day Weekend and absolutely merked. So happy to see Skepta getting the cosigns he deserves.
