Late June: Show and Tell
Hi I'm songwriter/producer Late June, I am the friend constantly listening to music and or constantly having earphones in when being talked to. Even when arranging this blog post I was listening to new music and barely focusing. I make music quite often and have been featured on this website most recently. I am a fan of all music so prepare for some weirdness.
Now that the introductions are out of the waaay.
Here are easily my top 5 favorite tracks that are rotating through my playlists this month.
(old and new)
WICCA PHASE SPRINGS 4EVR - ICE IS ME (FEAT. DYLAN ROSS & BE∀R) (PROD. GREAF)
This I recently discovered after listening to "Passionate Yet" by the very same artist and having that on repeat constantly for the past months. This song being the one that stuck out for me, having a very ambient yet clean production from GREAF, as well as having very promising features this track makes for an amazing finish to any playlist.
Sonny Moore - Lustbug
The energy on this track holy shit. This has to be one of my favorite songs by the Skrillex, just super uplifting and very dreamy. I always come back to this song maybe once or twice a year its just an amazing song to add to any playlist. Plus I've been a fan of skrill for fucking years, but this one sticks out more than anything else.
Flash Giordani - She Gone (Prod. Nok From The Future)
Honestly, I have no idea why I love this song. I think it's because of the strange nature of the vocals or even the abrupt beat change ups, or the fact that Nok From The Future freakin' produced it and anything he touches is fucking gold. But from the incredibly catchy chorus and the wild 808s theres really no wrong in this track. I would definitely add this to any part of your music library. Skrr.
Ta-ku - Love Again feat. JMSN & Sango
Possibly my most played song on itunes. I also must add that as soon as this song came out, I hid at work and tried to listen to it. (over excited about the last album) I also went home and pre-ordered the vinyl and the album. The melody on this song as well as the intoxicating vocals come out of this song incredibly well and almost pop out of the speakers and fill the room. Have to say maybe one of my favorite songs of all time, definitely my favorite from Ta-ku so far.
Allan Kingdom - Keep It Easy
Song actually came out like 6 months ago. Which is crazy, cos I'm still listening to it haha.
But this song is my favorite thing right now. Hands down, so well produced, lyrically amazing and just well Allan Kingdom, dudes insanely talented. That should be enough to keep you going, but it's hook is awesomely catchy and gets stuck in your head. Also it takes like 5 - 6 repeats/listens to actually feel like you've listened to the whole of it, at least for me just cos I can't get enough.
