J Dilla Tribute (Featuring Trading Card Club)

The heart of Detroit. J Dilla gave birth to Hip-Hop in the Midwest with Slum Village in 1996 and immediately began to inspire production all over the world. His influence can be heard clearly in the majority of classic hip hop albums over the past 20 years. His production progression and ability to try such new things has always been reminiscent of Miles Davis to me. I just wanted to share some of my favorite tracks of his as well as an EP that was released by friends of COE in tribute to the late great J DILLA a few days ago.
