Soundcloud surfing is just about my favorite thing. An hour on Soundcloud and you start to realize just how many people are making music. A lot of the time when I am playing through an up and coming rappers mixtape, I will follow a few of the producers whose beats I like the most.
If I'm being honest I don't know where I found Dougy but I'm pretty sure it was one of these two ways. That aspect of the story isn't really important, whats important is that Dougy is a talent and has been smart and lucky enough to find himself surrounded by other creatives.
He currently is at school in Chicago where his circle is complete with visual artists, rappers, soulection connections and more. Dougy and the homies remind me of even more talented version of the men that made COE a thing so there is just no doubt that he will be going places.

The idea behind this is to highlight DJ's or Producers that are willing to deviate from the norm. To give them a space to fully explore their creativity and express themselves in a mix without focusing on getting the attention of the people standing on their phones scrolling through Instagram or yelling their girls drink order to the bartender.
